Lucy went above and beyond in the level of care she provided for my Alfie.
She has a heart of gold, provides a brilliant time for the dogs, knows what she's doing with them,is worth every penny and then some! Best dog-walker/carer we ever had. And her photo updates would reassure me and absolutely make my day! In every photo, Alfie was mid air, ears back, going at full speed with a look of pure joy on his face. She has been flexible around my work schedule, goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure that Alfie is taken care of when I'm away, and is just a really kind and lovely person who is a pleasure to interact with. Lucy has been taking wonderful care of our beloved old greyhound Georgie for the past 3.5 years.
When we moved house we struggled to find a reliable dog walker/sitter who cares as much for Georgie as we do… well, until we met Lucy!
It is immediately apparent that Lucy has a real love for animals and she cares for Georgie as if she is her own, ensuring dog walks fit her requirements and providing us with regular feedback on how she is. Aside from dog walking, Lucy also looks after Georgie when we are away which is amazing as we can relax on holiday in the knowledge our dog is happy, safe and being spoiled of course! In addition to her strong competencies in pet care, Lucy is an extremely dependable, organised and approachable person. She has become a great friend of ours as well as to Georgie.

When we rescued Archie as a pup, we didn't quite know how we would cope with work schedules and caring for a new dog. Then Lucy arrived. Lucy is absolutely wonderful; and genuinely cares about all of her woofer clients. Lucy goes above and beyond the duties of a dog walker; she has helped train Archie, keep an eye on him when he's not been too well, and even picked up bits from the pet store! Archie absolutely loves going on walks with his new best friend and woofer gang. Lucy is now a part of our lives and I cannot imagine how we would cope without her. Thank you!! xx

All you could want from a dog walking service. Lucy is very dedicated, professional and above all, they really love dogs!
Our dog loves her weekly adventures running around with her pack, and always comes back absolutely happy as can be and totally knackered! We also love receiving photos of their daily adventures. Our little rescue dog Bella was so nervous around new people when we first adopted her. We trailed a few walkers before finding Lucy, who we could tell straight away has a very special way with dogs and it didn’t take long for her to gain Bella’s trust and love. We couldn’t recommend Leading the Way enough. Woof!

From the very beginning, Lucy was able to build a special connection with Eagle and Birdie, who are generally scared of strangers.
